Sushi and Rufus are busy working as guard dogs at night and farm dogs in the day. Sushi is energetic and has a big loud bark whenever deer, foxes or bears come of a nighttime, sadly his bravery doesn`t match his bark so he stays on the verandah and sends the lazy Rufus out to meet the challenge. In the day time Sushi is busy herding the sheep out to new pasture, chasing the piglets back to their field and announcing dinner time to the pigs. Sushi can`t understand why the humans want him to run slower than the sheep as he is the fastest on the farm, often he has to let loose to show who is the quickest. The Humans must like his speed and skills chasing the sheep like this as they go red in the face and wave their hands and bark with human excitement! Rufus oversees these operations from his executive spot under the yew tree, on the verandah or sitting in the front seat of the feed truck. At the end of the day they are most excited to play with Mr Pajama.V and Mrs. Curly who are trying to relax by the fire watching the sun go down. After a nightly of local Vension they come inside and fall contentedly asleep on their favourite sofa to dream of another day running freely on the farm.
